I thought his speech was labored, boring at times and was unnerving. What was he trying to say? Hemming and hawing! Parts were clever but overall. Was he drunk? I didn't get it.

I first saw him years ago in Splender in the Grass. Absolutely loved the movie which is an all time favorite of mine. Wished I could say more for his acceptance speech.

When I found out the Hollywood Foreign Press was recognizing Warren Beatty, I purposely stayed up to watch him, and confirm a hunch I have had for years. I think he is mentally retarded.... It was confirmed lastnight when he tried to deliver a simple acceptance speech. You would think after his many public speaking blunders, he would hire someone to write something clever, memorize it, and deliver it. After all, he is a "B" list actor. I would love him to run for public office, as so many in Hollywood have encouraged him to do. Watching him debate "anyone" in public would be his most entertaining role. Warren Beatty should stick to parts that have "prepared" lines, like a charactor on "The Guiding Light" or "Days of our lives".

As with previous award show speeches attempted by Warren Beatty, I was completly embarrassed for him and, as he rambled on and on, became very agitated and even angry, why do these people "stars" think they are the only people at the show? They appear to think so because as they drone on and on, they take up what little time those who will accept after them will have to give their acceptance speeches. I know he was given a special GG, but he has done this for years, and still no one must be telling him how ridiculus and embarassing he is in such moments. Maybe they have, and he is so taken with himself, he refuses to see it. Whatever the reason, I BEG those in charge of such shows: PLEASE DO NOT GIVE WB ANY MORE SPECIAL AWARDS!

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Libra

If you live with other people you have to resign yourself to the fact that you all want to do different things today. The more you urge togetherness, the more everyone will be determined under tonight's Full Moon to do their own thing even if it creates problems. Try to play this down as much as possible because it's also a lunar eclipse and getting angry won't solve anything; it may even make the situation worse. Maybe this is a chance for you to do what you want for a change, too? Anyway, enjoy yourself tonight, Libra because you deserve it!
