Review: 'Shame' is excellent, profoundly disturbing

It is only recently, in the modern realm of celebrity addictions that the public discourse has added sex to the list of potential afflictions and the general public is still rather slow on acceptance.

I was thinking more along the lines of model airplanes or reading railroad timetables.

Ok, I see.
I've been addicted to horse racing.
Nearly 60 yrs now.
Started about 10yo.
Not the gambling so much, but the puzzle.
The wagering results are really just a measure of success.
Other than that, the desire for money doesn't trouble me too much.
Not beyond life's basics it doesn't.

I have to say, Shame portrays the lonliness of being unable to connect to people intimately better than any movie I have ever seen. It is good to know that you are not the only one with this sort of struggle. Thank you Michael Fassbender for your soulful performance. I was floored.

I just did not connect to this Movie at all found it rubbish .......did not impact on me at all I did not feel anything for the characters found it shallow and very conservative unlike,Hunger which I really loved by McQueen and Fassbender but this one was diabolical did not deserve to win the Oscar it was weak.
