I ordered the classic john carpenter's They Live on bluray several weeks ago and I should be getting the film in the mail tomorrow November 6. I have watched They Live over and over throughout the years just like I have done with all other movies by Carpenter. To me, Steven Spielberg is the master director of making the high budget films, but John Carpenter is the master director when it comes to making low budget films. John is a true artist mainly because he has complete control over his films without studio interference.
