Thank you! I have met so many people who saw this movie and walked away disturbed and confused but they couldn't really say "why." When I finally saw it, I wanted to rip my eyes out. I can't fathom why Mila Kunis was even nominated for anything for this movie....she doesn't "act" in any movie I see her in...she is like the female version of Michael Cera. Natalie Portman's emotional performance was moving if you remove that from the rest of the plot and ensuing hyper-fantasies. I did not like how I felt after seeing this movie and it is nice to read a review of this film that is not gushing over how great it is. That really just means most of Hollyweird found it SOOO artsy that they didn't understand it and therefore it must be good.

Nah! They just like Natalie and felt bad about not giving it to her for Closer but (and OtBoGi....)
I left after Ben. M. came dancing in stealing my Natalie away. Are they still happy together?
I saw the red-hair bitch at a casino (the mom in the movie).... like I'm still in shock, since Natalie had so many people checking on me or Holloywood just likes gossip~\
For friends of Natalie that like me and Natalie together be sure and check her next week (latish) and I'll give you a winning stock tip that'll make you a Millionairess/air/airhead/upin theair/whatever assuming the something doesn't change like a Motley Fool picker picking it first. It could happend I just found it by being lead like a winning slot machine.... not from me but for me.... so when I'm full I'll let you in on it.
Fair enough. I miss her.

This sums up the original post on this thread:
The 29-year-old star won a best actress Oscar for her portrayal as a disturbed ballerina in the movie, but admits it was a challenging role, both physically and mentally, she should have taken some proper time out to recover afterwards instead of starting work on "Thor", reports contactmusic.com .
"I loved Darren Aronofsky and working with him was a deeply fulfilling experience but I just showed up for 'Thor'. I probably should have gone into rehab," she said.

Ashley, use some restraint and watch your language.
'than deal with the bullshit of haute ballet'
While your opinion is valid, this is unprofessional.
