After basically playing a 'man' in Salt, Angelina Jolie goes glam in The Tourist

The Tourist is the movie where Angelina Jolie rediscovers her inner woman. She has rarely looked more elegant and feminine than she does in the colourful thriller that opened this week.

Playing a man? Who thinks she is a man underneath it all? She could have faked the pregnancies. Remember her past. If it ever came out she is transgendered, then what?

What's next? She and Brad do a remake of Wild Orchid? Brad will never be as sexy as Mickey Rourke was when he was young. Let's hope he is not as gruesome as MR when he gets older. Mickey would have been better leaving things alone. He never got over Carre, but Carre got over him, remarried and had a family.

Angie is in a situation where she must stay with B because no one else is going to want her and her brood. She has reached Kate Gosselin status. I only thought of K8 because, of all people, Eric Roberts was commenting on K8
trying hard to raise those 8 kids. How would he know?

Where's Dr. Drew when you need him?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie remind me of Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, Edward VIII being the monarch who abdicated the throne of England so he could marry a divorcee. I don't think Angelina is much better liked than Wallis Simpson was. She too has her hooks deep into a weak minded man. It will be entertaining to see if the two of them continue to afford their extravagant lifestyle - they're losing their sex appeal, which is what made their early careers. What career paths are open to a faded sex symbol? Not many that I can think of that would enable them to live as they did when they were in their primes... Nothing would be cooler than to see these two go broke :-)
