Johnny Depp - Depp's Female Fantasy Film Role

LOL..This is one of the reasons I love Johnny. He is not afraid to go the distance! "Ed Wood" is not the only character in drag he has portrayed. In an episode of "21 JS" his character, Tom Hanson, went undercover as a female. And you talk about beautiful! I would have changed my sexual preference for her!!! LOL..I even used a photo from that episode as a profile avatar, and received at least 5 to 10 responses daily! The men who responded to me felt disgusted when they found out the person in the photo was a man, and not me. It was quite humorous! He also portrayed (a small part) a sexy harem girl in "Don Juan DeMarco", and let's not forget Bon Bon from "Before Night Falls"..oh yes,,the sexy blond with the boa that criss-crosses her chest, a skirt that looks like a bathing suit cover-up, high heels, a small patch of hair below her lower pouty lip, tightie whities and a FINE FINE ASS!!! Only Johnny Depp could pull this off, and keep his reputation as being one of the coolest actors of our generation!!! I have not doubt that he will be the best choice for portraying Carol Channing, because of his amazing mimicing talent..and his past experience. This will be his first role soley as a woman. In the past he has only portrayed a man in drag, and has mentioned more than once of his interest in portraying a woman. ROCK ON JOHNNY!!!

He was amazing in that 21 JS episode. He didn't look the least bit transsexual, for lack of a better word. He would have passed totally as a woman. In fact, the first time I saw it was when I bought the DVDs and played them on my computer, which had an audio problem at the time. I was watching along silently, thinking, "That actress looks familiar... OH..."

Yeah, he's such a great drag queen it makes me question my own orientation. Gorgeous legs. Glen or Glenda, indeed.

Of course I love Bon Bon too. Such a brief time onscreen, though.

I have always had a fantasy in which he played a woman. Not a transvestite, not a transsexual, just an ordinary woman. It would have nothing to do with the film, which could be a murder mystery or something. He could play someone almost drab, a secretary or something. His name would not be in the credits, and it even though everyone would know they would just suspend their disbelief to watch him disappear into this character. It would be the ultimate acting challenge.

Carol Channing's no ordinary woman, to put it mildly, and this sounds disturbingly like an invitation to another Willy Wonka hamfest. But who knows? I'm sure he could pull it off, if it's worth it. Whatever he chooses to do, I'll trust his judgment and go with it.

Ioki dressed as a woman in one of the episodes too. Him and Hanson both looked extrememly sexy..and gorgeous!! Some may have called it cheesy, but ya gotta admit, that "21 Jump Street" was entertaining!!!

No, I searched it on the interent. All the episodes are on youtube. The quality isn't wonderful but it's still really easy to see. But as long as I get to watch it I'm ok!:D

Amaon.com has the dvd sets reasonably priced..you should check them out!:)

The roles he has portrayed as a cross-dresser will give you an idea of what he would look like as a woman. Here is a clip from "21 Jump Street" where he portrays a woman undercover.

I found a headshot of JD from this episode, and used it on a(Flixster.com )profile page. Oh boy did I get some attention! LOL..He does make a pretty woman!

Is this another one of "Daniel Boone"s personalities??? Hmmmm...well, your statement is completely false! Johnny could care less if he pleases "Hollywood" or not! He has had to endure an enormous amount of B.S. from the Hollywood flakes in the past. Why would he want to please them now? He chooses his roles carefully; by using his heart, passion, and intelligence. Gay? NO NO NO..you have that all wrong too!
