Why do you want tourist? First of all the hotel room rates is through the roof. The cancellation policy is uttely ridiculous it is not in compliance with other hotel rooms. Why go through the hassle of viting your city with all the chaos and devastation going on with the major price increasing all over the city. The city don't ewven have respect for therer own citizens let alone tourist so why would one want to visit a city who indeed treat there own citizens with little respect like they never did matter. It is riduculous how the hotel prics has sky rocket and if you don't make your hotel stay you loose all of your money that alone will deterred me and other tourist from coming there because that is out right unfair. How are you going to charge and individual for an entire stay at a hotel even if they cancel 762hrs in advance . The city really need to get it together and come back to reality. The events thats happening in new orleans is a joke. And I just prefer not to be a party of it .

Thank You a lone lost ex citizen, who in the near future may have to visit as a tourist.

Last year before the storm I visited New Orlens several times, I can say I did enjoy each visit. But I would not return there now. My vannila dollars are taken anywhere and I'm sure they would be taken in New Orleans also, but I will not spend them there again. The commit that was made right after the storm, then later appoligesed for still burns in many of us. I live in Louisiana about 120 miles from New Orleans, Now my money will be spent in a different state. In Okalahoma they welcome all people, no matter gender or race, your all welcome there. Once words are said they are hard to take back so think before you speak is the way I feel.
