I totally LOVE Eastwood as an actor and director. LOTS of great stuff to enjoy.

I totally ABHOR Eastwood's politics! I felt sorry for him, making a TOTAL FOOL OF HIMSELF on national TV. I'd rather remember him as a great contribution to American film, than an angry senile curmudgeon harassing an empty chair!

Of course, in a way -- it made sense. An empty chair, used to promote an empty self-serving suit.

I think much of what the far right, of the republican party promote's, is to play on the fears of some americans....the older one's are likely the easiest to be vulnerable and timid.....fears of their own waning abilities and everything changing so much, from what they have alway's been comfortable with....they point to the african-american President and his party, as the precursors of the new ideas and changes, and the reason for these fears.....attacking the stability of medicare and social security, are among their weapons....
