I would laugh if Breslin and Vassilieva end up with Oscar nods, given that the Fanning sisters got fired from the film because Dakota refused to cut her hair (or so the rumor goes). Considering how gorgeous Sofia Vassilieva's hair is in real life, Dakota Fanning shaving her skull wouldn't have been that much of a sacrifice. Abigail Breslin's career is going up, Dakota Fanning's is going down. Such is the way of Hollywood.

Are you kidding me? "Never make a wrong move." That would apply only to someone who didn't read the book. If you didn't this could be a good movie - or you could watch My Life with Michael Keaton and see him waste away. If you read the book, you will be so dissapointed. We do NOT get to know ANNA in the way she is presented in the book, in fact we get very little insight to her at all, and the story is not about the "keeper" but from beginning to end about the sister, in which case the movie writers did the same thing Anna's family did and ignored her as an individual for the emotional pull the felt they could get for Kate.
