Cook strikes out as the leading man

A couple of schools of thought come into play with the new Dane Cook comedy 'My Best Friend's Girl,' which opened last week.

Dane Cook will go down in history as the most
lucky guy in entertainment. He's a little
bit funny and defiantly not a leading man.
I really don't get Hollywood? He must have made a
pack with the devil, or his agent did.

I've never seen someone so average "make it".

Some Drama student should do their thesis on
Dane and let us all in on the secret.
I hope he's a nice guy because he does not
deserve all this attention. I'm glad rugged
looking guys are becoming more fashionable, but
he's just so average. He looks like the cashier
at my Trader Joes. Well there's hope for me,
if this guy can make it--I don't want a fancy career--just a job. cheers
