nice how the review tells only a small part of the story

the book's premise is that Elvis liked teenage girls because they would be virgins (and remain so), so he could have a complicated relationship with them were he would be a combination of old fashioned lover (in the romance, not sex sense), brother and father rolled into one

while the girl was romance object, sister and mom rolled into one.

young women who were not virgins were not treated to the hands above clothes first base stuff

But Elvis did seem to pour his heart out to any female who spent alone time with him.

gee, I guess that's far less sensational that this review though.

I just cannot wrap my brain around why she would write this book NOW?

I can understand more why the earlier books were written, and especially right after his death, but this is just too much

I sometimes wonder if these people even consider Elvis' daughter and grandchildren.

because it was an unexplored area

but I find that the reviews are making the book out to be far more lurid than it is

Thought you were too busy with your personal/mental problems to post on here?

If you've got time for this crap, you've got time to find that press conference from Cilla and the 1958 hospital visit of Elvis.

Finding the press conference, putting it on the internet, making links to it, no I do not have the time now.

First, if it's not on the internet, I suppose I would have to get permission from a tv station or network to get access to it.

I will attempt to do that eventually, but I can't do it now.

My GOD, you're a joke! You used that excuse last time, then disappeared for several months, presumably to the mental institution.

Dear, you don't need permission ... just find ONE REFERENCE to this. That's all ...

I guess I do need permission, to get access to the film.

I don't have a refererence to it. I have never heard anyone speak of it. But it happened.

The press largely ignores anything that Priscilla did wrong. "Poor, innocent little Priscilla, the faithful, innocent victim of the awful Elvis."

Ah, yes, I forgot you were a conspiracy theorist, as well as a deluded, racist thug.

Oh, of COURSE the press take it easy on Priscilla - because the press are KNOWN for taking it easy on people in the wrong!!

How does it feel to be so bloody stupid? Does your head actually hurt?

That doesn't mean it didn't happen, you moron. You sound like you could not be over 12. Who could be dumb enough to think that just because the authors didn't write about it, it didn't happen?

Elvis did date much younger women than himself.

In fact I think ann margret was probably the closer to his age than most, after he was famous.

I think anita wood, june juanico and others in the beginning before he was super famous were close to his age..

Priscilla, linda thompson, sheila ryan and ginger alden were a good bit younger..

Maybe he felt younger himself when they were around.

It's about being SMART enough, you gullible, deluded, fat, ugly FOOL.

NOT ONE biographer chose to mention a PRESS CONFERENCE where Elvis' EX WIFE disses him, sitting next to her new man?

You're a freak.

You don't find EVERYTHING about Elvis in those libelous books you read, Observer.

well, if there's such a conspiracy, why would a tv station admit to you that they have it?

I didn't say there was a conspiracy. That was your idea.
