I am not a gambler but I see no reason for the issue not to be brought to public vote. With Williams admitting that he went to casinos to gamble and then not let the public vote leads me to think he has a better knowledge of what is good for the state than the residents that he represents.

What "knowledge" would Williams have that would stop gambling in KY?
You may not be a gambler, but you can safely bet your last dollar that Williams is getting something from the border state casinos for not letting Kentucky have gambling. Otherwise, why not let the people of Kentucky decide? It can't be his morality, he's an admitted gambler.

Excuse me,I had a poor choice of words.I meant he thinks he has a better knowledge of what we need. The voters deserve the right to make the decision to make gambling legal for it is like alcohol it is not going away, only out of sight.
