Josh Brolin doesn't have to choose between love and money. Brolin has cozied up fine to the Jewish directors known to be the critics' darlings (Stone, Allen, Coens). Not that they make hits, but they do put him in the right sort of places to make friends that will lead to being cast in the blockbusters. To be fair, his portrayal of W. was both comical and poignant.
