because none of it is going to change anything ..say sorry didn't alter anything anymore than adding them to the constitution, they choose not to become one with Australians and that is their downfall...The facts with mining are that some Aboriginal communities who have mining in their territory will do quite well from the mining deals they have made...it's "all" those people on the poverty line that have not seen a benefit from the mining boom nor those lower to middle class earners that have not felt the impact of it in the positive sense....the person who wrote this story did not know much about who really benefits from the mining boom in Australia or the deals made with some Aboriginal communities that will see them recieve huge profits from the mining boom....
