We're tired of celebrities getting breaks. They keep repeating the same bad behavior, and the rest of us have to pay the price. Enough is enough.

If this were any regular person other than the son of Micheal Douglas they would have gotten the max sentence. Im tired of celebrities getting a break because of who they are, who they know, or who mommy and daddy are.

5 f*cking years for dealing heroine and meth? If it had been you or me we would do at least 10 - 15 years. Criminal justice in this country depends on how much money you have, the judges go to the highest bidder. Ask OJ or Robert Blake.

Nope, his gateway drug couldn't help or cure him in the end.
Poor guy couldn't attend yesterdays 4/20 rally to reminsce his days as a pothead before he moved on to bigger and better things.
The Douglas's are quite the disfunctional clan. Drugs are key in their problems.
The doper and pusher should have gooten 20 years. Of course his fellow druggies would diagree since he is not a "violent" criminal.
That's what they post here all the time.

Gateway? I believe that's a computer company. You have no control over your impulses, so you need to exemplify it. It's okay, we need people you to be the oddball right wing extremist bible wielding "crazy lady".

Crystal meth is way too nasty for me to have any sympathy. Its not like the guy needed the money or to even be using that crap. And the answer to the 5 year sentence is to reduce everyone's sentence to whatever part of the five year sentence the Douglas boy will realistically be serving and release people for time served for people who got stung for the same crime. 5 years is a long time to spend living in a cage. Personally, I think they got the point especially if some rich kid is being expected to get the point for whatever part of that five years he serves.

Because crystal meth addiction is not one of the ailments that medical marijuana is prescribed for. Why didn't administering anal sex to your mother cure him either? That question makes about as much sense as yours.

He forfeited $300K, so someone got paid. Dealing large amounts of crystal meth typically lands repeat offenders in jail for a heck of a lot more that 10 years. Typical NYC and California elitist nonsense. Unless they reduce the sentences to 3 1/2 years for everyone else convicted of the same crime, their behavior is shameful. "He tried to cooperate"? What a bunch of hypo-critic bunk from a bunch of low level DAs looking out for their careers after being told what top do by Daddy's friends in high places. I am a big fan of Michael Douglas and I don't blame him for helping his kid, but it sure makes the rest of us look like his flunkies when something like this happens. And if that does not sound like a line out of one of his movies, then nothing does.

Not everything, EZ E, if somebody said it cures everything, they were wrong. It does do things that have the ability to cripple a couple of areas of big medicine, but by far it isn't a cure-all. It isn't what you thought, and it isn't Satan, nor is it evil. It's just a plant. I know it's hard to wrap your skull around, but open your mind to possibility, not propaganda.

well i don't just know WHO you've been listening to but i'm sure they're disappointed. you simply don't have the "faith" it takes to fit in. scheesch!... what a lightweight. maybe yer just not smokin' the right stuff or maybe its time to step it up a level, you know , become more "enlightened" as you like to say. meth?... why don't you go for the brass ring...heroin. nirvana is waiting. your boss, timothy leary, thought so but then, LSD is passe.
