First of all Into the woods is an amazingTony Award winning show, and I am appalled that you can call it "too long". Tell that to Lapine and Sondheim who wrote the story not the actors who took on the production.
This show is filled with comedic lines and hidden messages that you have to dig deep to see sometimes. This is what makes the show so intriguing. You have to come see it more than once, and guaranteed you will experience something knew every time. The show can be enjoyed by the young who get to see their favorite characters and the older generations who can relate to the characters' conflicts. It is an amazing show with lots to give, and if you wish to criticize it, this isn't the place.
And I am officially disappointing in learning the surprise deaths and endings.

So, which is it? Either you're the leading authority on the play OR you're 'disappointing in learning'(whatever the heck that means, lol) about plot elements.

Get your story straight ... kind of like you take your whiskey, I imagine.:-)
