"I'd really like my mother's life to have meant something," Carlson said"

She brought you into this world....isn't that enough??

The quote: "With respect to whatever (my mother is) entitled to, that's open for discussion." kind of sums it up.

I see a strong resemblance of Lucy and Ricky in her features. I bet she could very possibly be their grandaughter. I would love to know the outcome...

If it turns out Lucille Ball was her mother ever think that maybe she is entitled to some part of the estate. I bet if you were in her situation you would be the first one with their hand out so give it a rest

I would not think if she was given up and adopted that she would be entitled to any money, but maybe if there are any Attorneys reading this that they could answer the question.

...and my mother was Ethel Mertz, are you kidding me, who in the hell is going to believe this crazy woman! She needs to get on Jenny Craig, get a life and move on. I hope the family doesn't submit to anything, let alone a DNA. These nuts crop up every so often their claims go no where.

Get a life. Someone laughs like your mother so that make her a relative. Get real.
I believe her

There's apparently a lot more than what everyone is reading here. This is the second run around. You may want to read the whole story.:)

What a contradicting statement from Arnaz.

In regards to looking like someone..My cousin could not have children she and her husband adopted a child from California. They lived in CT at the time but now in SC. That child now 15 is a twin to my cousins husband they look identical, whereas I know children who do not really look like their parents yet they are biological, so going by looks and laughs is ridiculous. I am going to site the late M. Jacksons kids..If they are really his biological kids they do not look anything like him The youngest was born and had platinum hair until a year or so ago and it looks like it has been dyed to match the color of MJ's

I woke up one night to Paul Newman in one of his old movies. I could've sworn his laugh was just like my father's. And I do have blue eyes! Just maybe.....

This is why we must have a mandatory DNA with each birth. this match up will keep track of the breeders and we can start sending a tax bill to them ..Some of these kids have two or three different half brothers.

First if there is any question DNA should be done. And yes it is the almighty dollar. You know if she signed a consent to not have any claim to the money they might do a DNA.

So, say she is the grand daughter. He mother was given up for adoption. That means all rights of biological parents are severed. Would it make things better NO. She still would of been given up, still died etc....

I dont understand the need people have for this biological stuff. Prior to DNA There was only looks genes etc to tell and even then no guarentee. If it is so important to everyone that even shows are based on it then yes make it that all fathers be dna to the child. Oh yeah wait Divorce rate may go up. then again the shotgun wedding would go down. LOL.

Till this days this has been all about speculations, but now with the powerful DNA she can prove once and for all the veracity of her claims...!

Finding out who your ancestors were is something millions of people do everyday. Why should it be any different for this woman? It would be nice to know in her case or anybody else's case, for that matter, who your relatives are.
