You hit the nail right on the head. Aspiring to be famous for doing nothing. There have always been the notorious, and people like Paris Hilton would have been in that category. In today's world, she's parlayed that into an empire of mediocrity and the bar has moved down a number of rungs since her long ago (5 years) fame.
