Elizabeth Taylor named highest-earning dead celebrity

Oct 24, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Suria

Dame Elizabeth Taylor has surpassed Michael Jackson as the highest-earning dead celebrity in the past year after her estate amassed $210 million from October 2011 to October 2012, largely thanks to the auction of her jewellery, costumes and artwork.

50% share of Sony catalog will keep his estate making money but he still only has 20 songs anybody would want to listen to.

That is because Mama Jacky sold Wacko's name and likeness.

He was featured on Pepsi and was put on a slot machine.

MJ's songs and beats are being sold for free computer games.

She is milking it for all he is worth for the time being.

However, Elvis is still in the top 3 without much fanfare.

The only celebrity in the top 3 that has been dead 3 1/2 decades.

You seem to confuse The Jacksons greedy deals with growth.

Jacko dropped in income since last year while Elvis held steady.

The old hag, Liz Taylor did well because of her perfume.

Really surprised Elvis still beats Paul Newman.

His food products are everywhere in markets.

I would have thought Paul Newman would be listed.

Bob Marley is the next music star featured at #5.

The point is those 20 songs generate more money than all the songs ever sang. Perfection does pay off.

Perfection that pays off by having his concert DVD's sold for $1?

I have a strong suspicion Elizabeth Taylor's estate isn't paying off millions of dollars in debts. Does anybody know if she owed money, the way Michael did?

Don't be jealous of Liz. Not only was she blessed with good looks, she had a very shrewd business brain. She didn't get all that jewelery for being stupid.

For how long though?

Everybody knows that the greedy Jacksons made done deals.

They get to keep the money even if Wacko fails to sell.

Meanwhile, I have "Live In Bucharest" to laugh it for only one dolla.

Hilarious.

I'm not making it up.

I was just there with my wife after taking my parents out for dinner.

MJ's "Live In Bucharest" was in the bargain DVD section.

You want me to buy a copy for you and mail to you in Ohio?

They have a shit load of them.

One dolla.

Seriously, Jermaine...

One dollar plus the cost of shipping is not going to break me.

If you don't have the concert already, why not let me buy you one?

If it were full price, you think I would be telling you about it?

My wife asked me why I wanted it but I bought the Bucharest DVD.

For one dollar, it is worth watching for just laughs.

A movie.

What I can't understand is why you wouldn't want a copy for $1.00.

I'm certainly not lying about it, Jermaine.

But have it your way.

At least, I made the offer and thought of doing something nice.
