saddam could have used some yellowcake to make two low grade nukes - one for a demonstration shot and one as a deterrent - and that would probably have saved him from invasion

however with the low tech means saddam had he would have used maybe ten times the yellowcake for two nukes where having a higher tech would have enabled making a dozen nukes from the same amount

that's a dead giveaway that he was waiting for higher tech, and waiting cost him his life
