What is "his type?" Are you angry about something? I have no problem with CR, nasty mouth and all. He's no better (or worse) than any other comedian making the rounds. And IF I did support him (the scumbag that I am LOL), what the @&%$# makes you think I should leave too? Now THAT'S funny. ROTFLMAO

I'm not getting in the middle of this, since I cannot have an opinion about Denise Richards & Richie Sambora & the malignment they put against themselves & hurt their children(for later yrs), & ruined trust w/Heather Locklear, because that is not what Topix is for, apparently: to share your opinion, on a board, or forum.

ALL I can say is let's rewind back in time(to who were supposedly the worst, foul-mouthed, dirty comedians back 20-30-40 yrs ago):

1. Red Foxx
2. Lenny Bruce
3. George Carlin
4. Richard Pryor
5. Eddie Murphy

I love Carlin, Murphy(#1), Pryor, & think Bruce is o.k., but these were how long ago, & they paved the way for comics of today...who btw, have only been using the same curse words & profanity that was being used 40 yrs back when Foxx was doing it. People were shocked by it then, but it still goes on, & it will never go away. All you have to do, is when it is on t.v.(HBO special, Showtime, Comedy Central, Cinemax)--turn the channel. Right?

I wasn't totally sure, but the thought had crossed my mind.

I love Eddie Murphy. He reminds me of my one brother, & how he used to make me laugh, & he even had Eddie's tapes of his comedy routines, & I used to borrow them & put them in my walkman when I'd go meet up to walk w/my best friend. I had those routines memorized. Still do. I'd rather laugh then be crying, & when I remember my brother's best days, I remember how he would be so zany & make faces & imitate Eddie & Tom Hanks, & he would have me laughing. I don't see any harm in that, & for myself, it is some of the best times of my life w/my big bro.

So, I went out & bought a whole bunch of Eddie Murphy movies over the last few months, to add to my other ones. Lately, I've needed some laughter, & straight up belly laughing, cause so many people around me bring me down, are grouchy, nebsh*ts, & just want to be miserable in their lives. When the weather is crappy, I will pop in a movie, cause t.v. seems to suck anymore. If laughing(without harming anyone)is a crime, well, then lock me up!! Otay Buckwheat.

CR is not different then Eddie Murphy or Richard Payor. The language they use is terrible and people laugh at it. Our youth talk just like them and have no respect for anything or anyone. Which leads to gangs, drug and crime. Clean the place up.

As I've said, & you've seen, I am a huge fan of Eddie's. All the way around, from the beginning of his career on SNL, to Beverly Hills Cop, to his stand up, all the way up to Daddy Day Care. & I am not a foul-mouthed hooligan, I keep my mouth under control when watching my nephew, or being with my niece when I am in Florida, where she lives. SOME of us know when to contain it. I am not in any gang, nor do drugs, & I abhor violence of any kind. I guess I am one % that came out o.k., since I have a steady job, put myself through school 4x, own my own home, & have also a side business for myself.
It's just not nice to generalize, when you know someone is a major fan of someone & it is thrown up again about what kind of person they are. Or you think they are.

*laughing hysterically*
I need to walk around the block for correcting a person in here, to tell them they don't know what they are talking about & to not label everyone as they see fit?? Please. I don't get upset about posts in here.(you will see no exclamation marks in my post) Sorry I was making someone look like a know-it-all, that was making claim to what the outcome was of listening to Eddie Murphy. I have a Father who is like that & thinks he can label people, or lump everyone into certain catagories. & for somebody to include me in the generalizing that I have no respect for anyone & anything, doesn't know me at all to make that judgement.

LOL, S'cuse me for trying to set the record straight from being stereotped(& for stating who I am & what I stand for),there's too much of that in the world.
PEACE_back_@_you.
