Ok, so if fast food resturants in the US are paying illegal immigrants below minimum wage, then that's ok?
It's more than what they'd make back home after all?
Right?
Wrong.
A chance to be a movie star???
Are you joking?
They exploited them for a quick buck, made millions off the movie and paid their "victims" next to nothing.
But then Hollywood preaches their own version of morality to US???
Their just as bad and the fundies if not worse.
Movie star???
Ok, I'm going to try out for the next reality tv show, maybe that will make me a star.
Dream on!
It's business as usual, "Briguymn"... And it's a tough business!!!

Thanks Kissy, we still have fire threats but the firefighters have them under control at this time.
It's difficult to enjoy entertainment with the thoughts of what the fire victims are going through. I watched it for Heath Ledger and for Hugh as presenter. Got to support our own boys.
I love the fashions and all the 'glitter' is just a bit of fantasy away from our normal days. One thing I missed though, was how they used to show a good portion of each nominated role, you know so those who haven't seen the movies can get a glimpse of it. There were a couple of movies I hadn't heard of until Oscar night.
Have a good day. God bless you and yours.
Hello "Aunt Melba"! That's entertainment... Indeed, the "Crème de la Crème" of Australia were there. Nicole Kidman was also there to present the award for the Best Actress. Well, I miss Mel Gibson, Olivia Newton-John, Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia.

Hey Kissy how are you? When are we going to see a good Swiss movie? Haven't seen one since the Sound of Music. lol, that was too long ago.
I think Penelope is a very good actress and was happy for her to get her award. Kate Winslet is very, very talented and has deserved more awards than she's ever got. I felt sorry for Angelina because she's a good actress too. I love Meryl and would give her and award for burping, lol.
These STARS have been around for a while now and that's why they were the top nominees.
Sophia looked good, what's with the hand-on-hip pose? It looked bossy, but maybe her dress was coming undone or something and she had to hold it.
Which dress did you like the best, I didn't hear of a Stella McCartney frock. Do you know?
Sophia Loren just have to pose that way, maybe to look more elegant because I have seen another photo kissing on the check with Meryl Streep to comfort her for not winning. It's about time for Kate Winslet to win. And for Angelina Jolie, I think her time has not yet come. She got an award once but not a major one. In any case, she inherited her acting ability to her father Jon Voight who once won as the Best Actor in the film "The Champ" or "The Champion". I can't exactly recall what is the right title but I remember that he played the role of a boxer.

Your attention please, brothers and sisters!

Let me share with you my joy in recollecting that unforgettable and extraordinary day in my life on Holy Thursday, Chrismal Mass- March 20, 2008. Words could hardly express my extreme happiness just like winning a jackpot in the lottery. I could still cry for joy in reminiscing how lucky I was! I felt as if I was high for Christ. That's the photo in my avatar. Thank you Lord again and again, for that precious and rare moment.
