Just when you thought you'd never hear Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me" again outside of a strip club comes "Rock of Ages," a shiny, splashy homage to the decadence of 1980s rock 'n' roll.

Rock of Ages is a movie about rejects like me who would never in a million years choose to associate with the actors who are in the movie.

We made fun of these people in High School. Tom Cruise ? Alec Baldwin, are you &^%$ing serious ?

If these norms had stuck with movies like Mama Mia they could have prevented this tragedy and we would all be the better for it, it is important in life to know your limitations.

Hopefully, if there is any justice in the world, these actors will someday wander into a dark alley filled with actual heavy metal fans.
