My great niece, who lives in the Los Angeles area, has been determined to become a "dog doctor" since she was five years old. She has visited every animal shelter around her home, and when she travels, others, including Santa Fe's. She announced that hands down, the Santa Fe's animal shelter is by far the best ... a five star facility in her estimation.

What a wonderful, and generous gesture! Shirley MacLaine walks her talk! And the Santa Fe Animal Shelter certainly needs, and the animals certainly deserve, this benefit.

And we can all help the animals by adopting from the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, or from another "rescue" organization devoted to ending the senseless overbirth/death cylcle.

SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS! And, if you do not want pets to die, rescue/adopt! Stop Breeding!

I've always been impressed by Ms.MacLaine.....and lately, I've applied for a job with her (without much success ;-).... I really would like to work with someone who expresses her soul in everyday life. This just makes me more interested in assisting her in any way I'd be useful.....
