If your not this kind of fan it can't be explained to you, if you are are no explantion is necessary.

Interesting story,it to extreme in some points, but Elvis really affected a whole generation with his music and we can see his influence on other musicians till now ,so extreme is normal for him!

Wow. I thought I was a nut.

But I used to do a lot of the same things. I used to put bubble gum in "Elvis, What Happened" and the Goldman book in the stores. I used to steal issues of them from people I knew who had them, and if they did not look worn, I would put them back on store shelves so they would be counted as "unsold".

I used to put the good Elvis articles in the front.

We all think that, dear.

Then you're a vandal and a criminal. You have taken away money from honest booksellers and business people, who have the right to sell anything.

Then you're a thief too. I almost had sympathy for you when you said your collection had been stolen twice, but not now.

To actually steal something from another Elvis fan is just disgusting. There is absolutely no justification for this, mental retardation aside.

You are vile, in so many ways.

"honest booksellers" techincally have the right to sell vile lies about Elvis, I guess, but if they were decent people, they would not be doing it.

I never stole anything from an Elvis fan. These people were "general public" people who bought the book for the gossip factor, and of course believed and passed along the contents as gospel truth. Real Elvis fans would not have bought these books new. Real Elvis fans would not be giving Goldman or Steve Dunleavy their money.

Anyone who would give Albert Goldman or Steve Dunleavy their money deserves whatever they get.

You are still a despicable theif and a criminal who should be jailed.

No excuses for theft, least of all your version of "morality".

Just pathetic.

There's no "technically" about it. Booksellers have the right to sell anything that is published, and anything they think they can make money from.

And who the hell are you to decide what is decent?! That didn't work for Hitler or Stalin, and it certainly won't wash with a useless fat lump like you!

Just becauase you disagree with a book does not give you ANY right to precvent its legal sale.

You do not have the right to STEAL from anyone or destroy property which booksllers have paid for legally.

You are a criminal who should make reparations to any booksellers or consumers whose product you have destroyed.

End of story.

Well..Lee has finally OUTED herself.

Normal isn't a word that is conducive to her admitted behavior...
stealing from people she knew,,using bubble gum ...

This is a serious problem,,,and has obviously manifested itself into actions that are not only criminal, but quite childish and frankly,,insane.
