In the movie (and in the book for that matter), does Forrest Gump really achieve all those accomplishments
or is the story told as seen through the eyes in his special little head? In other words, does the writer want us to believe Forrest actually did these things, like play football for Alabama and meet the president, or does he want us to think that Forrest tells us the story from Forrest's own imagination?
