Don't really care who Sean Penn has for friends or relatives but sure like the fact that his employers are spending lots of money in our town. Next week they will be gone and life will return to normal but the money the spent will still be circulating around town.

Not sure what kind of folks they got in the actor segments, but so far, they haven't found much for their drivers, in trasporting equipment. It's been a real life version of the 'Three Stooges' as these folks move their equipment out south of town. One has to wonder if Alamo took into consideration how much damage they're doing to our county roads for this fiasco.

The film crew was in Palm Side last night eating dinner and dancing a little. Seemed like nice well mannered people.

Regardless of the movie or actors, the city will receive the benefits of this extra money being spent in town, that is a plus for the bussiness's that are able to provide a service to these people while in town.

Sean Penn is a "Hugo Chavez" lover and talks down about our country. Money isn't everything. Shame on the City for supporting such a loser.

Wasn't Brockett going to work for his buddy Denish if she took over as gorvernor when Fat Bill was running for Pres? Seems to me his business got a little back door deal from Santa Fe to use his business in the movie. Who benefits the most from this, not the city but a few cronies of the governor.

I don't think Brockett's going anywhere except the bank. I also heard they're shooting at Clarissa and Tim Mcginn's pistachio place. I wonder if they go to Santa Fe if Martinez gets election. Oh yeah, the Mcginns are buddies with Steve Pearce, have had some events for him at their business. I wonder if they go to Washington if Pearce gets elected. Come on man, clean money has come to town, businesses are benefiting, this is good, I just wish it could happen more often.

I saw some of the film crew this week at a restaurant, they were well mannered and friendly. One of them told me Brockett gave them names of other businesses to buy props they needed to use, and had been very helpful. They also said none of them has any contact with Sean Penn, they usually never have any contact with any of the actors. They were regular guys doing regular jobs, just one that gets a lot of public attention. If nothing else, it seems like the town is having a good time this week with the film. I agree, this is a good thing for our town.
