'ER' To Close After Next Season

NBC said that it is closing the door on "ER" after next season. The news came with the recent announcement that the Emmy-winning television drama was being picked up for a 15th season.

ER is a fabulous series. I've seen from the outset in channel TNT and this channel the new episodes. I've seen in Spanish and English. I hope that can do something to continue and if possible bring some of the old characters. Especially my favorite Noah Wyle. It would be wonderful that now that Luka leaves the series, Carter again with Abby and not remove it as well. It was the best romantic couple who took the series.

Yes, I have to agree with you Carmen, I don't know what I will do at 10 PM on Thursday nights! For the past 14 + years I've had a one hour appointment in the ER!!!!! Thanks for a great run!

Probably closing due to the increasing number of people with no insurance seeking medical attention with no ability to pay....we do have free medical care in the USA if you are from mexico
