If your liking to watch Jan-Michael then watch a childs show called the Bananna Splits. He is listed under Michael Vincent and played a charactor named Link.

To clarify this show - it was filmed in '69. Its broken up into three parts - animal charactors who dance around/a cartoon and a show that I forgot the name of but that show is where you will find a very young Jan-Michael.

you know, it really makes me smile to see your posts. Blake, you have not seen Jan recently, Sasha is about the only thing you have got right but well done for studying the media and the net so well for information and putting it into an almost believeable stream on the forum. Do you write stories for a living?
Friends? Many, and some even still actors NN, GB, to name a few. Harrison Ford is 18 months older by the way, so not quite same age but again, almost right! Wife? Beautiful and supportive.
Home? Being done and still getting there.
Helth? Fits? no, Age? yes, damage due to Coke? not really! Collapsed nose? Nah! Hip done? Yep! Interview while still on Novacaine-0 maybe not so good an idea! Alive? you bet!

I often wondered why hollywood didn't join up Jan-Michael Vincent with Peter Graves. Although a generation apart, they both had the same good looks and visual appearances. They could have played a great father and son team. Peter Graves was the one in the original tv series Mission Impossible many years ago and also younger brother of James Arness who did Gunsmoke. Anyway, I feel JMV and PG would have been a great match. Care to agree or disagree?
----------JMV and PG were both in Winds of War the miniseries

Jan is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet! I worked with him for the City of Los Angeles 2000 celebration and while we were live on several new channels some bitch from the Globe comes up and puts a mic in his face and says "what about the rumors you beat up (some old girlfriend)" ?! Just to stir up trouble and get headlines...then she printed that Jan was drunk for the celebration which was COMPLETELY UNTRUE!! I was with him all day and he never touched a drop!
It gets worse after that...Jan was only trying to make a comeback and the gossip rags hounded him to no end for weeks and months...it was very unfair to a very nice man...yes he has had his demons (alcohol) but everyone deserves a second (or third) chance!
--------since you actually know him personally, do you know if he is healthy enough to make a comeback?? Is he still interested in doing so?? He made a lot of movies--I would think there would be several producers that he has worked with before who might give him another chance for a movie role. I know that they are remaking The Mechanic in New Orleans, which is just a few hours south of where he lives. The original movie producers, Irwin and Winkler are doing this remake as well--I would think since he is the last living lead cast member--they could give him at least a cameo role. What do you think??

-------Someone listed this on his imdb page as a recent credit--but the series was done in 1968. His character was in "Danger Island" an adventure series.(part of the banana splits)

The only reason as a fan that I write on this website is in hope that the real JMV will see his fans still love him or some one he knows will let him know that there are still plenty of people out there that wish him well. I didn't beleive that the JMV that wrote on this site was actually him especially after he had to explain his incorrect address that was displayed to us.To the real JMV we all miss him and wish him well :)
----unsure of how this site works but I put in that I'm from Milwaukee, WI and it came up with my post as Hubertus, WI and I can't seem to change it. Does anyone else have that problem?? How do you fix it??

ok...so I broke down and bought season 4 of Airwolf and was totally disapointed. All the scenes of the wolf in action are all dubbed from the previous seasons. JMV is only on the first show for St. John's return, they kill Dom and Kate is nowhere to be seen or heard from. Needless to say LOW BUDGET filming sucks and they will never event come close to the glory of JMV or the original Airwolf. Still miss you JMV:)
-------I found a great fanzine (2 novels) that explains what happen to Caitlin and Dom and String--they are written by Cindy Rancourt and can be purchased at agentwithstyle.com --I've read fanzines before but this writer is truly a great novelist, and has captured the characters as we remember them. To bad these novels can't be adapted into a screenplay and tell the true story of what really happen to our favorite characters.

thank you. I worked in special effects since 1994. I've done movies like catwoman and I spy, many others. I did retire from acting to work behind the camera as Michael vincent, but physically I can't do that kind of work anymore. I think I have a couple of movies left in me and I believe I can still act.
-------Really??? You think so?? Then where are these new credits?? You do know you will have to start at the bottom again and audition; because of your abuse of alcohol you have lost the respect of the industry. Also, FYI the Catwoman credit is only listed on one fan site (as Jan Michael Vincent) and isn't on JMV imdb page; which means its probably a mistake. Perhaps you should double check before you post wrong information. Then again it would be refreshing if you would post under your real name and not steal his.

Got to janmichaelvincent.org ther is a link to an article that a journalist wrote about the search for him he went on. It is pretty good. don't know if its the truth but..... the website is also good
------The article you are referring to was written by Alan Huffman. He went searching for JMV with his friend Neil in 2006. He's a writer and lives just west of Vicksburg, MS. The janmichaelvincent.org site will be down till January 2010. Be sure and check it out then, Rosie keeps it updated monthly and has the biggest collection of photos (lots of gorgeous headshots) and also has a slideshow of pictures from many of his film roles.

Comments that I posted on this site about Jan-Michael Vincent were done with 3 names. Donna, Saratoga, and now Catails. Even though I may use different names, I am still the same person. One day, all the fans who posted their comments here on this page, may be surprised when JMV returns to the public eye to let us know he is doing well and possibly give his fans what we all been waiting for to hear. So it is written, so it shall be done.

I just wanted to write that I was brought up on Airwolf, and believe JMV has to be one of the best actor I have enjoyed watching. I know it sounds a bit cliche but I finally took the step to learn how to fly helicopters after watching how JMV is aiming to tackle his demons and move forward in his life, and I am now tackling my own demons and moving forward. Being 32 and the 'old lady' at the flight school was hard but worth it. Without my love of a tv show I wouldn't be following my dream and working towards being a rescue/air ambulance pilot. The chopper I fly may not be as flash as 'the lady'(my dream heli) however being able to do the same as my idol character and understand the talk of my idol actor is amazing fun. I wish I had started earlier in life. If Mr Vincent ever reads this post I would like to thank him for being part of an awesome show. Anyone know where I can get an autograph??

Since his interview on the insider in 2007, Jan has done 2 interviews for Globe and Splash magazine--you can find these and more on janmichaelvincent.org --I think he is trying to self-promote the best he can--but I think he could use some help. He said on that interview that he wanted to return to acting if someone would just ask him--well no one has--I'm posting/writing on a lot of boards like this one, to find fans of JMV that want to see him in films again. I know with his problems he's had in the past this will make it hard for him to get film roles now, so I thought we could help. I think if fans were to write to producers perhaps they would give him another chance. Snail mail or email addresses are on IMDB.com Would you help by doing this????
