Have you ever heard of a fabricated Hadith? The primary ahadith are those found in Sahih Al Bukhari, and Sahih Muslim. I've never heard of a "Sahih Ishaq".

I watched the movie last night about Muhammad Ali. He had been previously known as Cassius Clay. His boxing license was suspended during the years of appeal, and the court would not grant permission to leave the country. Ali was the most well-known Black Muslim of the 1960s and 1970s. Sadly, he now suffers from Parkinson's Disease from all the years of fighting. But there was time when he was the "Greatest" in that pugilistic sport. Ali was smart in avoiding Vietnam. I studied Agent Orange in graduate school. It was a cancer-causing chemical defoliant blamed for toxic effects. The VA denied the harmful effects of AgentOrange until the 1990s when the National Academy of Sciences and World Health Organziation verified the toxic carcinogenicity due to the contaminant, TCDD. Vietnam Veterans now are eligible for service-related illnesses based on Agent Orange exposure. Foreign scientists in Asia are also convinced it caused birth defects in exposed areas, which is controversial in the scientific community. But in the 1960s Agent Orange was generally assumed to be harmless, but the original scientist who studied defoliants disagreed vehemently and protested its use. The scientist was Dr. Arthur Galston at Yale. The Vietnam War was very tragic. As for Ali, he should have retired after his fight with George Foreman. Today, he struggles with daily living tasks because of brain damage.

I have lived in Pakistan & the racist discrimination is based on ethnicity. Punjabis & Pathans hate each other, same with Mohajirs & Sindhis. Baluchis feel marginalized & share nothing in common with rest of their countrymen.

Slavery was a accepted norm in all cultures of the old world. Normally people treated the captured in the wars as slaves. But first in Islam among all cultures, libarating slaves was instructed and encouraged as an act of charity and virtue.

We find this example in liberating the first muslim slave, Hazrat Bilal (RA), from his master by Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA).
