I'm probably in the minority who thinks movies have seen their day. I just don't see any Star Wars, Ghostbuster, or even a Scream coming out again.
I may be older, but all this stuff seems as old as me. Even the 'serious' dramas about what supposed to be really going on can't seem to be taken seriously by people. I can't tell you one person who has seen Crash that I've heard about liked it or thought it was really representative of what's going on.
I'll never understand why Kevin Smith's films are supposed to be that great. I like comic books, too, but the only thing I've wanted to see in the new century were based on comics I read in the 80s and 90s.
Will the last person turn out the light.
