Abraham Lincoln was the worst American president ever. He was a statist, seeking total federal control over not only the states, but especially over every American individual. He destroyed the US economically for decades, severely punished his critics, savaged his political opponents, gave the feds carte blache, suspended citizen rights including Habeas Corpus, instigated hatred between Americans, ignored laws he did not like, violated the Constitution, became a de facto dictator.... Sounds like Hussein Obama today.
