A former writer for David Letterman said she quit his NBC talk show in part because of alleged sexual favoritism and a hostile work environment.

A bit off topic but I don't think his wife would really care about all of these rendezvous as long as she gets her ounces of gold each week.

And didn't I hear she was young enough to be his daughter?

The only other thing she could see in Letterman was to use his teeth as a bottle opener. He needs to see a dentist.

Maybe that's how the women (men?) he's had affairs with feel about him too if they're paid enough.

His wife is not an attractive woman, and probably had to sign away most of her marital property rights in a pre-nup. She's pretty much bought and paid for, and even if she has justified this for her child and lifestyle, I still feel sorry for her humiliation- how could she not be? It's their business, and I think, like the ESPN guy, that consenting adults should make their own choices, but it seems Letterman is even more of a jerk than he had already revealed himself to be over the years, which is really saying something.

Letterman is a typical liberal sleazebag, no better than the politicians he routinely makes fun of. If he were a conservative, people would be demanding he resign and the NAGs would be calling for boycotts, but since he is a lib, people kiss his @ss and put him on a pedestal. Typical double standard.

The REAL David Letterman is not as funny as the one on TV. Sadly, he reminds me of my old man (god rest his soul) who couldn't help himself hitting on his female employees with late-night trysts with my Mom keeping his dinner warm until after midnight cying her eyes out. What a REAL MAN Letterman is. I pity his wife!

I assume both his show and marriage will survive this, but I think he's lost respect, as well as viewers.
