If the young people of Brazil were offered opportunities for free educational development, coupled with gainful employment, this problem would not exist.
It is up to the Goverment of Brazil to make sure the their young people are exposed to positive experiences in education and employment.
Any failure to educate and employ their young people hurts the Brazilian Goverment image.

Shanty towns are made from one person then more people come and that’s what makes a shanty town.
Most people in a shanty town can’t afford rent or they are very poor.
We spoke to a person called Spyro who lives in a shanty town
And he said “I have to live in one of these because I don’t have enough money to pay the rent”
The living conditions in a shanty town are very appalling it’s full of rubbish and has rats and many diseases. Many people in a shanty town are waiting for the keys to a new house but they say their going to get it tomorrow but they never do.
Mauru works in the city as a shoe polisher.
He gets 30p and he has to give half of it to his mother. Mauru has 11 people in his family.

Desarmamento has failed, I have never seen so many iron bars, doormen, security guards. The only people armed are the bad guys, the cops and the military a perfect trifecta to live in fear, the neighborhoods have to be conquered back not by the inept corrupt polica and military but by the moradores themselves. The new militias formed by off duty cops who maybe have their own corrupt agenda is a step in the right direction. Repeal desaramento and let the rank and file defend themselves with guns, it is ridiculous to have gunfights and molotov cocktails thrown at you and you not being able to defend yourself.

It's the same no matter where you go in the world!, some people will not or can not achieve a decent life as we call it in civilized society. The government can spend hundreds of billions on these so called poor and under privileged people with little effect. The United States is a great study in this. Decades of Affirmative action, race based quotas for college grants, advancement in all branches of government, small business and yes over 100 billion spent on the chocolate city (New Orleans) and the state (Louisiana) with little advance except to highlight social corruption! All you social scientists are full of it period! Some people are self destructive in nature just like some are gay or like to party.
