As I said earlier, I remembered him from the 60's and early 70's but couldn't recall the exact names of the shows I saw him on (and never since). I simply availed myself to the power of the web to find the names of the shows I saw him on back then.
:)
And no, I have never seen him on anything since.
You haven't even seen the remake of "Ocean's Eleven" ???

I recommend it. A delightful romp with a very pretty cast.

I just realized that I DID see him in a movie about 10 years ago called "The Perfct Storm" (a storm I lived thru). It wasn't a very good movie, and apparently he made no impression on me.

btw, if you want to see a GREAT movie I accidentally found a few months ago, see "The Bank Job" starring Jason Statham. GREAT movie !

Eight millimeter is the new wave!

Or, in his case, a pair of stereoscopes.

I haven't seen him in anything in 40 years. He's just not an actor I'm interested in, nor would care to see. There are many actors, famous and not, that I've never seen in anything simply because I'm not interested in them.
This is fair. I think people are finding it a little strange, but I can sort of relate; if I am not interested in a public figure, I know *absolutely zilch* about them.

The rise and fall of the VCR makes me feel incredibly old. I recall their beginning and fall from favor. I read the last VCR tape was manufactured several years ago and I am sure you can't get a VCR to save your soul, even at a thrift store.

I remember when I was a young kid and my parents went to a friends house for a party. The next day the BIG EXCITEMENT in our house was my parents described to me what a picture on a COLOR TELEVISION LOOKED LIKE !

Though he claimed Clooney was a "no-name actor trying to create publicity for himself."
This would be the same as saying Madonna is a "no-name" singer "trying to create publicity" for herself by supporting equal rights.

You can know nothing about an artist, but you can't ignore how famous they are since they appear in the news and on tv so often.
On top of that, as you mentioned earlier, a simple Google search would yield results that prove he is not a no-name actor. It was a ridiculous statement.

There are two types of gays. There are "Good Gays", and there are "Queers". George Clowney obviously has never met any of the latter.

Firstly, in an earlier post on this thread I said that I DID remember seeing Clooney in a movie about 10 years ago.

Secondly, Madonna is one of the GREATEST singers and actresses in Hollywood history.

Yes, and Clooney is one of the top actors in our time. See how ridiculous you sound now?

Jason Statham is less known than George Clooney. See, this here just proves you're slightly "clean" between the ears.
