Xeno always pops up when Gil Navarrois mentioned. He seems to defend Gil way too much. Wonder why? Take notice of this and read the posts. It is hilarious and obvious.
Because Xeno likes to make fun of those who just call Gil a racist or go back to Mexico. Xeno knows Gil and knows that he really helps people. Oh you know like in the Bible, help your fellow man. He gets a kick out of people who demonize him and most agree they are really stupid because they have no solutions for problems, they just rant.. They make up things and rarely use facts. I would defend Racist, Xenophobes but there is no defense for them. Yeah, you are not the first to imply that I am Gil. Unlike Gil, I speak and write Spanish, being half spanish, the other half Irish. I consider myself White who supports a sensible plan for the 15million who live here and have a dream that one day someone will come up with a sensible solution that will work. Mass Deportation will never be done by any Democrat or Republican nor does any Democrat or Republican want to grant full amnesty. I challenge you to find a solution that will work.

Xeno, friends of racists like Gil are usually racists themselves. Are you hispanic, by chance?

In logic and rhetoric, a fallacy is a misconception resulting from incorrect reasoning in argumentation. By accident or design, fallacies may exploit emotional triggers in the listener or interlocutor (e.g. appeal to emotion), or take advantage of social relationships between people (e.g. argument from authority). Fallacious arguments are often structured using rhetorical patterns that obscure the logical argument, making fallacies more difficult to diagnose. Also, the components of the fallacy may be spread out over separate arguments.

I am proud to be white. I don't think all Republicans are racists either....

Congratulations, Xeno. You can quote from a junior college logic book. Good for you! But you cannot dispute that Gil and Baca are more supportive of hispanic interests than American interests. That makes them racist. Look it up!

Xeno,
I am confused. In previous posts you state that you were born in Luxembourg and consider yourself German. You also state that you lived in Japan. Let me guess.....you are now going to say that you were born in Luxembourg, yet you are half Spanish half Irish and you speak German and 4 other languages as well as went to a High School in Japan because your father was in the military. Right.

Your previous posting on another blog states you learned Spanish when you were an adult. Get your stories straight if you are going to tell stories. No one really believes you were born in Luxembourg and your agenda is transparent.

Dude, read the article, we're not in the confederate south. It's talking about the Inland Empire which has a growing Hispanic voting population that is pretty close to being the majority in this region, and we're talking citizens not undocumented residents before I hear it from the Peanut Gallery.

However, Gil Navarro is an idiot. It should not matter who the PAC leader is as long as they are representing all the interests of the party and the committee. Mr. Navarro and Mr. Raymond Herrera are both nothing, but rabble rousers in their extremists points of view. Have fun arguing with each other.

"Dude",
Forget the article, read THIS( www.census.gov ) and come back and tell me again about this..."Inland Empire" you refer to,it doesn't exist. Have you traveled East of say...Texas? Travel East of the Mississippi River and you won't see a significant population until you hit Miami.

NON-Hispanic Whites still make up 66% of this nation's total population/demographics. That leaves Hispanics/Latinos of any race at just...14% nationwide. That's a -52% population gap separating Hispanics from NON-Hispanic Whites. What IS in California,IS NOT in most other states. Please remember this.

Regardless of whether or not I have traveled East of the Mississippi, which I have I wouldn't pretend to be familiar with the dynamics of a specific region as you are doing so.

The Inland Empire is an area in which I live in that is geographcially east of Los Angeles County and consists of parts of San Bernardino and Riverside County, so now you can look up your little Census guide and tell me that the Inland Empire Latino Caucus would not be a major political player in this area.

So just to be clear, we're not talking about the demographics of the nation we are talking about demographics of the Inland Empire, which as much as you want to convice yourself is not Never Never Land.

Correction,

Travel East of the Mississippi River and you won't see a significant "HISPANIC" population until you hit Miami.

Sorry for the typo. Nothing against "Legal" Hispanics, but man these people give themselves WAY too much f#cking credit as to..."Clout".

Also, maybe YOU can help ME understand a few things.
As a Hispanic who is a United States citizen or Legal resident...Just what "special" attention is it you as a Hispanic require??

I mean what interests or better yet, just how do YOUR "wants and needs" as a Hispanic differ from mine or any other American's "wants and needs"??

Why do Hispanics need a..."Caucus" exactly??
What is it that I am entitled to as an Anglo, that you yourself are denied as a Hispanic???

Hispanic U.S. Citizens can

** VOTE
** OWN A HOME
** START A BUSINESS
** LEGALLY DRIVE
** ARE AFFORDED THE EXACT SAME OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONTINUED EDUCATION VIA GOVERNMENT GRANTS AS I AM

I mean help me out here, just WHAT exactly is it about being Hispanic that warrants any..."special" consideration. Exactly what are Hispanic issues and how do they differ from any other honest man or womans issues?

How do they differ form the Black man or woman?
How do they differ form the Non-Hispanic White man or woman's issues?

Ya know like wanting a better future for their children, keeping their child IN school and OUT of trouble/danger. How do your wants and needs in those areas differ from that of any other honest, hardworking American citizen's wants and needs???

Hispanic issues begin IN THE HOME AND IN THE COMMUNITIES!!! Just like every other...hardworking,honest American citizen's issues. Try being an AMERICAN FIRST rather than a HISPANIC FIRST!!! Nobody's saying you gotta forget where you come from, just don't ever forget where you are at!!!!

Wouldn't it be great if we didn't need a Latino, Black, or Even Asian Caucus. Unforunately, not everyone dismisses enthicity or race when considering issues facing the voters of this country. So unfortunately, it's because of the those that can't look beyond race that we need specific PAC's to represent the voters interests from those groups.

I look at it no differently than the need for there to be the National Rifleman's Association (NRA) or the National Organization for Woman(NOW). They are basically there to represent a specific group of voters with shared interests that want to make sure their groups' points of view are not overlooked by legislators.

But specifically what collective interests would Hispanic society have that versus that of any other society? That's what I'm getting at.

Take Barrack Hussein Obama,he claims to be a "post-racial" President yet every time a group like the Tea Party,or any other independent group voice opposition to his ideology or agenda, here comes Pelosi with the god-damned "Race Card".

We are constantly having this man's race shoved in our faces by this administration, especially by Pelosi and Reid. OK,WE GET IT...HE'S Black,so does this mean we should just sit down and shut up? I mean how DARE Americans have the audacity to oppose America's First Black President right.

Now do you see where this kind of ethnic/racial "balkanization" shit ALWAYS leads??? Regardless of intentions. The road to hell is paved with..."Good Intentions" is it not??

You see when we square off into racial/ethnic groups then intentional or not,you create an "US" vs. "THEM" situation!!! A situation where you can not GIVE to one group without TAKING from the other. The days of having to take to the streets and fight for the right to vote, the right to be employed, the right to own a home wherever one choses are fortunately over.

If a minority group claims they do not have adequate representation,99.9% of the time this is due to lacking the VOTES needed to elect what a minority considers.."adequate " representation.

I think Gil was hoping to elect more latino dog catchers and other lesser positions and then parlay that into something bigger. Maybe there's some hidden power in controlling all SBs stray dogs. And if those stray dogs wanna get fed by that racist, Gil, they better make sure they bark in Spanish.

Gil---do you really want to help republicans (whether they are hispanic or not) that come from the party that fought farm worker rights, fought extension of California's civil rights laws, family leave & kin care laws, that fought to recall the first Hispanic justice of the California Supreme Court (who was appointed by Jerry Brown)? Wow! Self marginalization at its finest!
