Dr. Long's endowment was there for Lon Morris to draw interest off of to pay for the school library. They already had over $300,000 in interest accumulated in less than 3 years.
How does $1.3 million go missing?
Easy math.
Divide the 4 or so families running the county into the ground, and multiply by each inbred that stays in the county to syphon off more money.
It's easy to see how fast $1.3 million could disappear in 3 years.
Had they waited 6 years, they could have doubled the money.
