I loved it when he dropped to the floor and did one armed pushups at the Academy Awards...he was about 80 then! Most of the 20 somethings in the theater couldn't have done that...and the line "I crap bigger than you" in CSII...what a delivery...and visual image. He'll be sorely missed, indeed.

I met Jack Palance 11 years ago at a book signing. I told him that we had three things in common. First, we were both actors. Second, we both knew Yoko Ono. Third, we both worked with Burt Lancaster. In fact, I told him, Burt taught me how to dance for a film. Jack looked at me, and with a wink and a wry smile, he said: "I didn't know Burt knew how to dance." That was Jack Palance. A fine actor and a gentleman. See ya later, Jack.

name I believe was Palanski) was Ukrainian and was born in Ukraine.One of numerous people who found in
