Does the movie "Bruno" reinforce damaging and negative stereotypes of the gay community?

Is the way this movie "bruno" portrays a flamboyant, promiscuous, polyamerous stereotype of gays pathalogical and grotesque?

Does "Bruno" trash gay culture and polarize the mainstream against gays?

Would Cohen dare to insult another Orthodox Jews or Muslims by such outlandish grotesquery?

This is not censorship. This is banning of obscenity.

That's the definition of censorship. What is obscene to one person may be art to someone else. This movie has a rating. If an adult takes a child to this then the child has other problems. Bad parents.

In my opinion, this movie looks stupid and I won't be seeing it. The insulting part to me about the Borat movie was that he didn't even bother getting the accent right. The rest of it was just stupid. An hour and a half I'll never get back.

I think obscene is what a dominant majority feel to be inappropriate and varies from culture to culture. In muslim world for example, seeing a naked woman on a street may be considered obscene.

US definitely has a much more stretched sense of what is decent is acceptable from sexuality perspective than Ukraine.

Even the UK trimmed out some of the more offensive material. My concern is that the movie Bruno mocks a minority group --gays which is unacceptable.

Thats crazy talk, you should be able to mock anyone you want. Maybe tomorrow you won't be able to mock the gov't. Banning such harmless movies can start a dangerous precedent

I'd ban it for tastelessness and lack of talent.
Just another Jackazz type movie. Yawn.

Would an offensive movie like Bruno have been shown in the USA 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 30 years ago, 40 years ago, 50 years ago?
