Everyone whining about this movie is an uptight homophobic prick. Bruno was HILARIOUS. I think the responses from the uptight gay-bashers really proves that, despite the advances many states are currently making in terms of gay rights, that we still have a long way to go before America is truly a tolerant place. To the idiots claiming they were "horrified" by this movie, I just have to ask you, what the f**k did you expect? Did you people never see the TV show? It's no secret what Bruno is all about. And to all the nuts wanting this movie banned, just remember, Hitler did the exact same thing. You don't like the movie? That's fine, nobody's forcing you to spend the $9 to go watch it or to take your kids.

I'm not gay, and I didn't find it to be "too much" at all. Homophobes like you seem to miss the point of the movie. The whole point was to completely shock you and push the boundaries of what's acceptable. Bruno finds that boundary and crosses it, and it's f**king hilarious. Personally, I didn't like looking at the swinging dick, but at the same time, I couldn't stop laughing uncontrollably about it. Maybe it's not that the movie was "too gay", maybe it's just that you hate and fear gays too much.

That is why I love the movie, it exposes the insecurities and paranoia of homophobes using humor. I love it. It is fear, fear and paranoia, and I love watching these homophobes so threatened and insecure.

Actually, the movie is making big bucks and getting major viewership and ratings, so I guess most people enjoy it. For the people who don't, like you said, this movie exposes insecure immature paranoid homophobes for being just that and essentially makes a mockery of homophobia, which is great. There people who are offended are the jokes and I love laughing at them.

Oh, and the people who say that they are horrified but saw the movie anyway or still talk about it are just obsessed with anything gay. That's how homophobes operate. They say they are anti-gay yet obsess with anything and everything gay.
