Wow if people think this was hilarious than either a)They are hypocrites cause if this happened to them they'd be unconfortable too, and disgusted
b) Humour in America isn't the same anymore and society is becoming degraded everyday because of morons like Cohen

I don't like Eminem myself but seriously where is the decency and humor in this? Only a middle grade student would find this appropriate and hilarious. lol American society is being dumb downed.

The entire skit was base, lude, vulgar, immoral and in poor taste. I hope MTV has to pay $5M for this pornographic prank. We are trying to raise families out here MTV contintues to try to destroy them. Shame on you MTV. Get your lawyers out on this one. You just proved once again that you have NO shame. I feel sorry for the M&M guy. That was also patronizing a man that is known to have anger problems. I hope he does not return to visit you perverts.

It was staged! Great publicity for both of those guys. New record out. Cohen movies advertised! All in a public, widely watched audience. Both of them love attention. Money talks and bull**** walks!

I'm on the fence with this. However, it's a great publicity stunt because of this - we still don't know. It's obvious that Bruno knew and the writers (and the cameramen). The thing that still is in question is if Eminem was miked. However you could capture him talking with a uni-directional mike and if there was one pointed at him then it could indicate Em wasn't in on the loop. If there was no long uni-directional Mike pointed at Em, then we know it was staged. However, Another thing: Eminem should get an academy award for his performance if he was in on it and should start doing major motion pictures because that is the best acting performance I have ever seen in my entire life. Em was bleeped out at the right moments, but that could be, because there was a 10 second delay on the live feed. Another thing to consider is that Sacha's Head(the big one) was way out in front of Em and maybe he thought Bruno would land where his upper torso was headed,as you would think someone would logically come to full stop by grabbing a seat with their hands and pull themselves down. Still another clue is that MTV is famous for pulling stunts like on their show Punk'd, where the victim celebrity doesn't know what's coming. Maybe they told Em some celeb in front of him was going to get a kiss from Bruno (?) so how would Em suspect?
Since this is turning into another 9-11 investigation, I think our building 7 is whether there was a uni-directional long range mic aimed at Em. If there wasn't, then it was staged because something was picking up his voice. If there was, we still have the possibility it was staged too but staged without Em's consent. The thing that nags at me is why didn't Em get out of the way? Or you would think that he'd beat Bruno's ass and've done serious damage. However, I don't think the bodyguards responded strangely since "Bruno" is a celebrity himself and wouldn't pose any physical threat to Eminem.
Whether it was fully staged or not, this is going to rake in both of these performers millions of more dollars.
If it was completely staged it would seem that both artists would shy for interviews for a while but if Em wasn't in on the loop it would seem that Sascha could come out and say Eminem didn't know and create a "comedy beef" with some real dramatic underpinnings. However, if both keep silent, you know that they are milking it. Eminem will not come out and say he wasn't in the loop (obviously) if he wasn't, so he will keep silent no matter what actually happened. It should be silent for a while. Em's not stupid (though a homophobic hot head, he is or can be, but also a good actor and comedian too).

conclusion: Em is not THAT good an actor and they probably told him the celeb two seats in front of him was going to get a kiss on the neck or something - that's how he would have accepted them being there. Also, the cameras waiting for him in the hall is a no brainer if you know Em's temper and what he's likely to do. Still, a DEAD giveaway would be if Eminem holds out forever to not confront the cameras and say he was in on it - cuz we can tell if you're lying or not Marshall Mathers, you can't fool us !

So tell me...um, which Eminem albums do you own? I have Relapse and the slim Shady LP. Do you have The Eminem Show or curtain call? We could maybe get together and have a burning party and then go see Bruno afterwards.
Let me know. You can check out my You Tube Channel by typing in "Mad Island Heat" there and then contact me.
Can't wait to get together duuuuuude !

It sounds like sexual assault.Eminem would have justified if he took violent actions.

If you watch the video, the camera pauses on Eminem well before Cohen floats down toward him. That's a clue that this was staged. Eminem also had time to move out of the way. It seems obvious this was staged with the cooperation of both performers.
