People will watch anything. This guy isn't funny. He makes jokes at the expense of others. I wish he would get a taste of his own medicine! It is no wonder Hollywood's days are over.

Everyone wanted to see it as soon as it came out, hence the big opening, and that's why it dropped off. Whoever compiles the stats is clueless.

I'm not surprised, maybe those who saw the movie talked about it and others aren't willing to put out ANY cash to see grown men acting like 6 year olds.

How do they report the Sunday results on mid-day news programs on Sunday? Apparently this is clairvoyant garbage.

Cohen is a bigger idiot than Micheal Moore. And that is saying a lot. I can/t believe anyone would waste thier time and money on anything this idiot puts out.

I like your post and I feel the same way! I am embarrassed that our nation (youth, mostly) seems to find simply brainless, stupid shit "funny"/ entertaining!! People today don't have half the substance our parents did back in their day!

If that idiot ever rolled up on me and touched me in any way (props included) I would bloody his face on his way to the ground, instinctively. I feel bad for his parents- I would be ashamed if I were them. Talentless clown milking stupidity for all he can.

A fool and his money are soon parted. Too many fools spnet 30mil to see a POS from a loser. I would almost rather run ice picks through my eyes than to watch this garbage.

Yeah, like anyone from Carpentersville has any place to comment about others' homes or IQs. Your village board is the laughingstock of the northern suburbs, and as a democratically elected board, one can only assume that they are a reflection of the larger community.

I laugh at the idea of anyone from Carpentersville trying to convince themselves that they are better than ANYONE else.

I have to agree with that.

Just look at our nation's elected officials. They are a direct reflection of the lower bar that we apparently desire in terms of decorum, political acumen and constructive, tangible knowledge.

With that being said, although I'm not a fan of Cohen's comedy, I would say that his movies are the perfect catalyst to bring out the stupidity that is prevalent among very many Americans. We're not nearly as upright, intelligent or self-secure as we try to fool ourselves into thinking we are. Many Americans are ignorant, unintelligent cowards who simply have big mouths, but nothing worthwhile to contribute. The worst part about that is most of these breathing clods vote.

Cohen actually makes intelligent comedy... if you think his comedy is dumb, well then the joke is on you. The situations he creates are very carefully crafted to make you cringe and sometimes be outright shocked. If you are afraid to feel these ways, his work can be challenging.

(i.e. just because his characters act unintelligent doesn't mean his comedy is unintelligent.)
