Problem? I thought everything was about scores. Team scores photo shoot; Sacha scores team. What problem?

Parents need to raise a stink and file police reports straight out. What Cohen did, the ****-erotic poses and nudity are obvious felonies. GQ and the Daily News are so bold to post photo of these crimes and play it off like no big deal..just having a "good" time. Well, you all f'd up big time. The cops and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing will seek the appropriate remedy for persons guilty of committing moral turpitude. Cohen is a pervert plain and simple and needs to stay away from all young people and be registered as a sex offender. All you people supporting his criminality are obviously **** needing to stay in WestHO and the hell away from kids. Come around my children and there will be hell to pay dirtbags.
As Sam Kenison said in Rodney Dangerfield's movie "Back to School"... "Good answer, good answer. I like the way you think!"

I can think of 100 things off the top of my head to be more outraged about than this silly photo shoot. Hey Superintendent, Bruno wants to interview you.. he's looking for a new tight end for his football team. The guy at birmingham high wasn't gay enough.

To Bad Risk: I was replying to The Cynic's attempt to correct grammar of USC grad.
USC Grad wrote: "If I was Cortines, I would only be "steamed" if the school was not compensated by the movie company..."
The Cynic stated: It's 'if I were Cortines' and 'if the schools were not...'
I just stated USC Grad was correct in his grammer, not that he was correct he what he said.
Ahhhh! got it now. sorry

Another reason I'm glad I homeschool my child. You never know what kids do at public school!
Every year LAUSD parents are sent home a consent form that covers this, if you don't sign it or indicate that you don't consent the school won't involve them in things like this.

God I hope you are trying to be funny, if not then I consider you to be far more of a threat to my kids than anything Mr. Cohen can come up with (he's merely unfunny).

He needs to fire the principal and the athletic director. This is not the standard to be setting for education. Whether parent consent was involved is irrelevant. I doubt the parents knew this is what would be involved.
Have any of the parents of the students involved come forward to complain? I think we would have heard about it if we had because the DN is devoting almost as much attention to this non-issue as Ramon Cortines.

In any case, so I can get things straight, you are in favor of due process for teacher termination even if it means that bad teachers stay in the classroom for years, but are advocating the summary firing of administrators who broke no rules or laws?

Can we all accept that Cohen is gifted at what he does? In Borat he made a living out of duping people.
Is it so hard to fathom that he duped a Principal and AD?
Especially using a recognizable name like GQ?
Distractions, distractions, distractions. The more we talk about this nothing, the less we can talk about relevant matters like how my kids are going to go from a classroom with 18 or 19 to a classroom of potentially 29 in first grade.
I'm tired of pols waiving bait like this in our faces and the masses just chomping down on the hook.
C'mon Vicky, where's the outrage over quality teachers wandering the streets, over our kids being crammed into classrooms, and of Summer school cancellation forcing thousands into idleness.
Perhaps, we have too many kids in our class rooms that should not be there. The truth is, our public education system is being weighed down by thousands of children who parents are here illegally.

Our class rooms are full of gang bangers who have no respect for the law, let alone the education system.

Vicky,

Let's say for a moment that you are right about the entire system being weighed down by these illegals and gang bangers.

LAUSD has no ability to remove them from our classrooms. In the case of the illegal children in our schools, LAUSD along with every other school district in the nation is under a federal mandate to educate them.

Many of the "gang bangers" are American citizens. Many in these forums refer to these kids as 'anchor babies'. The only way to remove these kids from our classrooms is to change the Constitution which says that any person born in the United States is a United States Citizen.

You can howl at the moon until you turn blue, but blaming LAUSD for either of these problems is pointless. The problem is with Federal judges who keep issuing rulings we have to follow. I don't want to hear about how they are all liberal ninth circuit decisions because they are not. They have come from almost every district court in the country and in spite of all their protestations it has been Republican Presidents who have been appointing Federal judges for 20 of the last 28 years.

For all of the problems facing LAUSD, and there are many, the root cause of most of them have been legal decisions by the Congress and Court system.

Put the blame where it really belongs, on politicians and judges who have no regard for the reality of their decisions.
