If the very thought contained in the headline doesn't turn you off on the idea of attraction to other men and seeing that image doesn't make you desperate to embrace some supposedly hidden, inner heterosexual, then you're completely, totally and permanently Gay....If anything, this is proof positive that aversion therapy doesn't "cure" homosexuality.

People, the movie Bruno is making fun of us. It is socially acceptable to make fun of gay people and fat people. Why do we tolerate that?

I have as good of sense of humor as the next person, but if we want to be taken seriously we should stand up and say that it is not ok anymore.

Making fun of gay people is cheap laughs and shows no imagination. The one thing gay people have is disposible income, and we should use it to make companies realize we are people.

While I see where you are comming from, such reaction is a double edged sword. If we allow our selves to get riled up everytime we are made fun of publicly then were are made out to be thin skinned nancies who cannot take a joke, let alone be in on one. I commend your idea to not support this venture fincially but don't let this get drawn out into a huge "protest" that will only bring more scrutiny from those who are still on the fence about supporting our fight for equality. Fighting social injustices that are strwn through humor is a difficult one and usually the ones opposing the light hearted nature of the laugh inducers tend to be viewed in unflattering ways.

I agree. It seems it is still acceptable to make horrific jokes about gay people but you dare not make them about other minority groups. And some minorities think they have free-reign to malign other people but if anyone did the exact same thing in reverse to them, they'd be calling the NAACP and marching on Washington by the thousands (remember that tasteless movie by the Wayans Brothers all in "white face" drag?).
