The beginning of the film, Spielberg depicts a black idiot soldier sassing the President of the United States. Historical movies don't have to be entirely accurate, but "Lincoln" captured that time and place about as accurately as "django."
Spielberg is getting very creepy in his old age. He should just stop making movies. It's getting embarrassing.

So, the "Academy' rewards another revisionist historical inaccurate film, yet again. Why is that not surprising.

I agree. I just saw a movie that debunked Jews complaints of getting gassed by the Nazis. I always suspected that the jews were lying. Excellent movie in my favorite "jews lie all the time" genre.
