Chances are Lil' Wanye's mugshot isn't as sparkly as this.

When you see heavyweights like Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Remy Ma, and Ja Rule all in one place you expect to see a star studded concert or maybe a music video. But on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 the rappers were appearing at Manhattan Criminal Court on separate cases ranging from assault to weapons possession.

Ja Rule, who was born Jeffrey Atkins, was arrested on weapons charges last July after police stopped his 2004 Maybach and found a loaded .40-caliber handgun.

Grammy-nominated Remy Ma, whose real name is Remy Smith, is charged with assault and witness tampering. She is accused of shooting an acquaintance over money and then trying to intimidate her.

Busta Rhymes, whose real name is Trevor Smith, is accused of kicking a fan, punching a former employee, driving drunk and driving with a suspended license.

Dwayne Carter, better known as Lil Wayne, was arrested for illegal gun possession after he performed at the same concert in Manhattan as Ja Rule.

Prosecutors say police officers smelled marijuana coming from Lil Wayne's tour bus, and as they approached, he tossed aside a bag with a loaded .40-caliber handgun. In each case the rappers were given a later court date.

I was there that night with Lil Wayne (I'm his videographer) Police didn't smell a damn thing, Wayne didn't toss a bag nor a gun.

They were pissed because he went off on them early that day during Sound Check. And yes he really did Click Out on the police for wanting to search him at his own concert.

Police pulled over the bus got everyone off...they didn't even know which one of us was Lil Wayne. Fianlly a Sgt. came over and said, "Just get the one called Lil Wayne..." which was funny because he was standing right next to him. They even tried to bate his security into a fight. Case was thrown out because in all actuality the officers should have arrested everyone, not just Wayne since the CLAIM was that they smelled weed and saw guns.

Rappers are not leaders of the black community. Please stop watching music videos, entertainers do not represent me.

Yes, it sounds like a conspiracy to shoot, beat, intimidate, carry a loaded weapon illegally and drive drunk.

Conspiracy of dumb behavior.

Ain't ya'll seen the video Game made called Stop Snitchin, Stop Lyin?

They have "hip hop cops" who follow rappers around with the intent of catching them doing something wrong. Eventually, everybody does something wrong.

Just doesn't make sense. Don't they have better things to do than harass rappers?

Does the word "DISENFRACHED" mean that you were "FRANCHED" at some point?!
