Against Taylor Swift. Thinks highly of themselves and "mature" Usually listens to unpopular music and are in their own little world thinking they know what "real" music is. Although there are some completly messed up haters. Usually can write insanely long paragraphs trying to pick and blow up every little flaw about the country superstar. Ignorant to see she writes about her emotions and writes about guys to express their feelings. Haters take this into another direction and decide it's garbage and think that girls shouldn't listen to this and go cut themselves or something to vent instead of venting with Taylor's songs. Should realize that artists aren't all the same and work toward diffrent priorities and try to attract diffrent groups of people. Concieted and likes to form packs in order to take down girls' spirits. Unaware of the vast new audience Taylor has brought to Country music even if she's not 100% country. Can or can not have a life, it's their decision. They're not that bad. Could just lay off Taylor and her fans.

That's because she CAN'T...she sounds like crap live. Even after much vocal enhancement in the studio, she still only sounds average at best. Go to any karaoke bar and you will find someone who can sing better than Taylor can. A third grader can sing better than Taylor. I just hate the fact she's so overhyped and overrated, while so many others with actual talent and awesome vocals (WAY better than Taylor's) get the short end of the stick. And it's not right.

Well genious, being a superstar like Taylor is way more than just singing. You have to have a ton of charisma, personality, musical ability, creativity, and individuality to be a star. If those girls that can see better than Taylor had more of those things they would be stars too. Singing isn't the only talent someone has to possess. and Taylor has it, those other girls don't. Well real music shouldn't be about how long you can whale a note, it's about whats really in the song. I'm not putting down Carrie, she really has heart in her songs.

Everyone is entitled to their own opionion concerning music. But nobody should go shoving down their beliefs down anybody else's throat. Setting up a forum on how much you hate somebody? That is truly pathetic and immature and maybe thats whats wrong with out "faultering so-called civilization" Crissy. Taylor Swift has a lot of charisma or else she wouldn't have gotten as far as she has gotten. Whether you like it or not most stars do have charisma.

Also to Crissy, I'm pretty sure I have brain cells and am not an idiot, but I still listen to Taylor Swift's music. For one thing I do not vent out my feelings by complaining about someone who has met more success than I have.

That's the problem with CMT these days. WHO CARES ABOUT THE STUPID VIDEOS??? Folks like Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Ernest Tubb, Lefty Frizzell and Bob Wills never had music videos. Country is not supposed to be about the way you look or the videos you put out. Whatever happened to the MUSIC? That's what it's really all about. If you ARE going to make a video in the country realm, it should be a rather simple, easy-going video (take Jamey Johnson's "In Color" music video, or Alan Jackson's videos--those ones are great). Taylor Swift's music videos have every element of a pop video, which makes sense because she is a pop singer. But that is one of the many reasons why CMT is going down the tubes faster than fat people can shove down food at Shoney's.
