I had always looked forward to meeting Candy Clark in person because when I was in high school I wore my blonde hair like she did in the movie American Graffitti and had a very similar personality and experiences like Debbie in the movie. Modesto is my home town and the movie was pretty much the way it was when I was in high school back then. Lots of fun memories !! I finally got to meet Candy today at her booth for autographs and pix. She was disappointingly rude!! The vibe she had was cold and unfriendly. Obviously she just wanted to sell her photos and with her attitude, I just walked away!! I no longer wanted her picture or anything else for that matter. She could sell a LOT more stuff if she was more positive!!!!!!
