His Defense attorney did raise good point. Even though i believe he's guilty, i don't necessarily got a fair and impartial jury. That movie was very popular!

Imagine he was hispanic? How many racist lames would be commenting already...Lol. The answer to their problem...DEPORT HIM AND ALL ILLEGALS. It's like crime was and is only done by illegals, what a bunch of ignorant people.

" "I feel strongly that my client could not receive a fair trial because of the movie and the pretrial publicity," argued defense attorney James Blatt, who said Hollywood's case was the first ever in the U.S. depicted in a movie released prior to trial. "

What an idiotic attorney. If his client had manned up to his actions, the trial would have happened before the movie, but no, he has a POS for a client.

To the Markowitzs, it sucks that it took so long to bring justice for Nick and your family, but I'm glad there is finally a resolution for you, peace be with you and your family.

They should put the other Markowitz brother in jail with Hollywood. Then maybe Hollywood will get the $1,200 debt back.

Did we forget about the P.O.S. family members who helped hide and support him in Brazil. What jail sentence did the receive?

Dan,

They can't put him in Pelican Bay yet. Pelican Bay is for prisoners who have caused violence at other high security prisons. If you kill 10 people on the street, you still don't go to Pelican Bay. You go to P Bay if you kill a correctional officer or kill other inmates.

this kid and his father should get the death penalty. If he had

Just curious, exactly what crime constitutes the death penalty instead of life imprisonment??? Under what circumstances does the defendant get the death penalty instead of life imprisonment???
