Frankenweenie Blu-ray Clips Indulge In Some Mad Science

Watch Breaking Dawn Part 2 Online.Tim Burtonís stop motion animated story, Frankenweenie, didnít cost an arm and a leg to make, but despite critical success, audiences didnít come out to catch the flick in droves. If you did happen to miss the film, its strange story and interesting animation are intriguing enough for at least one view. Fans and newcomers alike will be able to catch the film when it hits Blu-ray and DVD on January 8.

The ďRocket ManĒ clip gives audiences a chance to view some of the more fun-spirited and less horror-oriented clips from the flick, showing us an experiment that, well, kind-of works.

Noomi Rapace is very much on her way up, and could easily be a good role away from being the new Marion Cotillard-- a foreign actress to become an A-lister in the States. She may be hoping the trick to getting there is a reunion with her Dragon Tattoo director Niels Arden Oplev, for their first English-language collaboration Dead Man Down. Get your first look at it in the new trailer below.

Aside from the undeniably up-and-coming Rapace, the rest of the cast seems to be people who could use a break-- Colin Farrell primary among them, after last summer's disappointing Total Recall remake. Terrence Howard has also been on a bad run since his Oscar-nominated work in Hustle and Flow, and there's even Dominic Cooper in there somewhere, having popped up in Abraham LIncoln: Vampire Hunter last year and never seeming to get the kind of work he deserves.

Let's be honest: Dead Man Down looks more like a straightforward thriller than an acting showcase, and it's unlikely any of this cast will show us something here that surprises us. But the movie also looks stylish and intriguing, and though the story about a mysterious woman hiring a hit man is as old as time, it has stuck around because it works. Dead Man Down comes to theaters March 8, opposite the Tina Fey comedy Admission and the Sam Raimi mega-fantasy Oz: The Great And Powerful.

Buried in an article written by Screen Daily is news that Anderson and Desplat will once again be teaming up, this time for The Grand Budapest Hotel, Anderson's latest writing and directing effort that is set to go into production next year. The feature is set Europe during the late 1920s (making it Anderson's second period piece after Moonrise Kingdom and first film outside of the United States) and is said to be inspired by the works of Ernst Lubitsch. Ralph Fiennes will be the main star in the film, playing a composed concierge who tries to deal with mounting chaos that erupts at his hotel, but he is surrounded by a brilliant supporting cast that includes Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Mathieu Amalric, Jeff Goldblum, Willem Dafoe, F. Murray Abraham, Jude Law, Adrien Brody, Edward Norton, Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and Saoirse Ronan.
